A Californian Journey

 

These images are a selection of photographs, I took on my trip to California, Arizona and Nevada in the year 2002. Big open landscapes, barren, with big skies had a calming almost therapeutic effect on me. I also became fascinated with the Joshua Tree, the extraordinary shape and its resilience to survive in this dry land. I believe these images can communicate to the viewer, what I saw and felt at the moment of making the exposure.
